The curse bearer of a long line of exorcist, Mei Linh did not have a regular childhood. Instead it was filled with pain and a craving for a life outside of the four walls of her room. Being blessed by the Azure dragon when she turned 19, it allowed her to handle the curses without as much of the pain, but her lack of movement previously left her physically weak. Still, she tries to live the life she had always wanted to live, free and carefree, even if a bit reckless.

Mei is meant to be this wild child doing everything and grasping every opportunity because she was sickly as a child, losing her chance to make silly choices when she was younger. Her family is a high ranking exorcist family so she is extremely taken care of, following that job path since she turned into a late blooming “prodigy” once she “recovered”. She actually just made a deal with a dragon that favors her family to recover her body when she got the chance. In her eyes, the world is her oyster, whatever she needs, it will end up providing. She’s a lonely person though, as she was kept away from others due to being sick for a long time. So while Mei is loud, reckless, and mischievous when around others, she’s quiet and actually prefers to hole herself up into her room because it’s become a comfort for her.

Graduating from high school in 2023, Makayla Nguyen has been a content creator since October 2021, starting as a witch vtuber named WarWitchM (War Witch Morgana). She stayed as Morgana for two years until a depressive era struck hard due to heavy conflict with her friends and lack of social interaction, graduating.
Around 9 months later, she returned to streaming under the name and persona AshenMei, a Vietnamese exorcist vtuber, later adding the yandere aspect after a Halloween special.Makayla herself is a 3rd generation Vietnamese and Iu Mien that was born in California, later being raised in Arkansas from 2nd grade to a year after high school. She has a deep love for her Asian identity, happily showing it off even if not easily accepted by her peers.
Makayla has been to both Japan and South Korea at this point, getting into jfashion, especially Jirai Kei. She casually does cosplay, getting herself more into make up and in real life streaming slowly.
